First day of work 2012

It was really a challenge for all of us to get to work on time today and most unexpectedly, my boss decided to pull a joke on us and fine us for getting to work late. So, as i arrived work at 9:30am (due to traffic jam of course) i was fined RM30.

However, the RM30 did not go into waste as my boss decided to treat the whole team to lunch with those money. So, we went to Skypark and i had beef bacon sandwich which cost RM 15.50. (the budget was RM 15 per person) so, we ordered skyjuice to go with that to avoid exceeding the budget more. All in all, it was good , at least i got back half of the money i paid.

It wasn’t that bad at all except for the thoughts of working again, the thoughts of thinking and brainstorming for ideas was really bad last night.

I just need to remain the thoughts that this is temporary and that i will have fun along the way doing the stuff that i like to do and excel in them. 2012 will be good, it has to be.

Peekoo baby is up now!

I’ve been thinking about setting up an online business for a while now and since i apply by my principle “all words and no talk make Jack a dull boy”. I started up an online boutique by the name of “Peekoo baby” with my sister.

Peekoo baby was set up on 23rd August 2011 providing all mommies and mommies to be with the best baby products.

Since it was just a side business, we began to think that the idea of just selling baby products is not going to work since there are so many of them online boutiques out there.

So, we set up to provide baby hamper services as well. Name it from your allocated budget and preference on the products: baby bath, clothing or body care. Let us know your preference and we shall deliver by your request.

Holly Jolly Month

The land where men wears kilt

Imagine being able to see green scenery (imagine tally tubby land kind of green) with sheeps and cows lazying around the grass,just looking at them lying on on the ground or simply just nibbling the grass away all day long. This was how i imagine Scotland to be but after being here for more than 5 days, Scotland is more than it’s green scenery and lazy cows. It’s about the great culture of the Scottish from the reason men here wears kilt to having haggis, a sausage (sometimes they served it loose) filled with lamb’ internal organs which to be quite frank here, tasted not bad at all. Well, yeah…i have tasted them last night and it was great at first until i started thinking that it’s animals’ intestines and all.That ended the meal quite quickly but yea there’s always a first for everything.

It’s nearing to winter and i was told on the first day when i arrived that it was the day light saving season already- meaning Winter is here. The temperature here is always slightly between 10 degree in the morning and 5 degree at night with light rain and wind. It’s not so much of the cold that’s killing me, it’s just the wind. The other day i went out to Buchanan street for shopping and guess what?i got lost on the way back and it was freaking cold but yup, once again an experience not to be forgotten.

Today it’s his birthday, just going to laze around and see what happens. I would just like to wish my love a very Happy Birthday here and wishing him many happy returns in many coming more years. May he always be guided and blessed by God.

Hey y’all,how have you been? Well, i have been busy with work and now there’s a time for me to blog about my other passion, fashion.

Fashion statements..hmm..i bet any one of you out there has at least ONE fashion statement t-shirt. Anyone that’s interesting? Do share it with us. Anyone that will offend anybody or anything, you shall then keep it to yourself. I had ONE t-shirt which is for Starbucks but on this it says STARFUCKS with a really interesting mermaid logo.

Anyways, i think fashion statements are good and interesting for people or for boys to notice you. If otherwise offensive, then i think it’s wrong and you should just keep it to yourself.

Bandage dresses

Sophia Bush, Hilary Duff, Gabrielle Union, Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and Lindsay Lohan, they all wear them, the ever famous bandage dress by Herve Leger.

Those dresses calls for attention 24/7 once you put them on. I can’t seem to get rid of them from my mind once i saw Lindsay wore them. It’s so beautifully wrapped on her. I think it really compliments a woman’s body, clinging to their ever beautiful curves. Thus, it also reminds me of Fran Fine, from The Nanny who loves to wear tight small cute figure hugging dress. Well, if you have the curves, why not flaunt it with these bandage dresses. They are  beautifully crafted to reveal a woman’s elegance and poise.

I just hope they make and sell it here in Malaysia. Well, hopefully then they will make it affordable too. I’ve seen those dresses, they cost USD2000 at least for one dress! Talk about beauty is pain!!

Fast and Furious 4

The movie was fabulous but i think that this time they have not shown as many cars and the modification of the cars which they have shown in the others FnF. Besides, the soundtrack is also limited and has none that are unforgettable like those in Tokyo Drift, remember Teriyaki Boys, it was hot for a few months and i don’t think that this time they have done anything as such.
Anyways, i think this is because in Fast and Furious 4, the plot is more complicated than the previous 3. There’s a story to it and the story is either too long or too complicated and thus depicting the fact of showing more dangerous, modified cars in this movie as i think that’s what people have been expecting before they see the movie.
But i would have to give credits to the actions done in this movie especially the first part (when they were stealing the petrol) and the race. The action there is awesome and it’s a 2 thumbs up for that 2 parts because i was really excited and actually shouted because of that. (and somebody beside me got annoyed at that and laughed about it after)
Anyways, all in all, i hope there another movie , fast and furious 5 perhaps?
